Memorial Dr, Greenville Speaker: Hal Weatherman Topic: Homegrown terrorism and an overview of national security and terrorism activities in the USA Hal is the Chief of Staff for US Congresswoman Sue Myrick, who founded the House Anti-terrorism Caucus, and serves on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intel. Hal has begun informing civic groups, and other organizations around North Carolina about this critical issue. Hal Weatherman has distinguished himself as an author and speaker. Please come and be informed about what is happening right now in regard to terrorism and the threat it presents to our country. Upcoming Events: Pitt County Republican Party Annual Barbecue Date: Thursday, August 19th Time: 6:00 pm Place: Greenville Convention Center on Greenville Blvd. Congressman Walter Jones will attend and Senator Richard Burr has been invited. All GOP candidates are welcome to come and say a few words. There will be a live auction this year with auctioneer Billy Clark, who will delight and entertain you as he presents wonderful, interesting and fun items for bid. We will have a special patriotic music presentation, door prizes, some surprises and great food. The tickets are $20.00 per person and $12.00 for children under 10. Remarks RE: July Meeting Presentation: Those who attended our July meeting with speaker Hal Weatherman, Chief of Staff for US Congresswoman Sue Myrick, were intrigued for more than an hour with facts and information about the infiltration of Islamic factions into our country. The seriousness of their progress into our government, commerce, education, and community is frightening. And now the ruling from Arizona, which ties the hands of the State of Arizona to enforce immigration laws to protect themselves, and us, from further invasion from illegal aliens. As we learned from Hal Weatherman, it is not just Mexicans coming into our country illegally. This dilemma should be a critical concern to us all, because a significant number of the others coming across our boarders are here to do great harm to us. Please help, get involved and help get Conservative candidates elected who will not just talk about fixing this problem, but will DO IT!!
